Who Are We
Dry Ridge Baptist Church is more than just a place; we are a community defined by our relationship with God and our commitment to living out the Gospel together. Our identity is rooted in these four callings:
We are Family
As sons and daughters of God, we have been adopted into God's family through faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior. This means we are brothers and sisters in Christ who share God as our Father. As family, we are committed to actively loving one another, watching out for each other, and carrying one another’s burdens as commanded in Scripture.
We are Learners
At Dry Ridge Baptist, we delight in growing in our understanding of the Bible. We recognize that we cannot authentically worship or effectively serve God until we first learn who He is and what He expects from us. Therefore, we are dedicated to studying and applying His Word so we can know Him better.
We are Servants
We are called to be servants following the example of Jesus Christ, who came to serve and not to be served. We commit ourselves to serving one another within the church and reaching out to serve our community. This service is a practical expression of thankfulness
to our Savior, empowered by His Holy Spirit.
We are Worshippers
Our ultimate purpose is to bring glory and honor to God. We express our faith through worship that engages our minds, hearts, and voices. Our worship is not just what we do on Sunday morning, but it is a lifestyle of reverence and praise that flows from a deep conviction of God’s goodness and His supreme authority in our lives.
